"I'm having a contest. Draw Roxie. Show me your interpretation of my pleasantly plump pooch. The one who best captures the essence of Roxie will win a prize. The prize: One of my handmade sock monsters!"
With that, here's a picture of Roxie:

And here's a picture of one of Lizette's awsome little sock monsters:

The judges include prominent members of the Vega family which consists of Lizette's parents, sister and some cousins. You have until the end of the day friday. The winner will be announced next monday morning.

Just a heads-up: I'm addicted to this challenge. Absolutely addicted... so I also follow it via your Flickr group/pool/set thang. But it's not getting updated very much. Which makes me very very sad.
Oh... and I'm surprised you haven't customized your Flickr URL:

Are any of the art pieces done for any of your Challenges for sale by the artists?
Mike, most of the challenges are done digitally. I know Will and jake do alot of originals. I don't know if the guys want to sell them, but you can contact them through the links section. Most of our blogs and sites are on here.
They just get better and better...

This reminds me of my grandfather's dog, had tea and buttered toast with him every morning and scones in the evening, it was cruel to his frame but none the less a very cultured pooch.
Anyway I gave it a shot as well.

I wish I was a talented artist! Those sock monsters are grand! "While Lizette's away" by Jake broke my heart but in a good way. Story of my life. You won't get in that dress, honey, but you're still gorgeous!
Its monday morning now.... :) ...
-Tanx Bajel! I miss the olden days when i saw you in the drawing/ painting workshops at Sutter St and i would look at your work and then go and cry quietly in a corner. Those were good'ol days.
